The Los Angeles Dodgers started a four-game set against the San Diego Padres on Monday evening and took down the Friars, 6-3.
Amid a fourth inning outburst of five runs put up by the Dodgers, Padres starting pitcher Dylan Cease hit outfielder Andy Pages with a 98 mph heater that was up and in. Pages seemed to take issue with it as both team’s bullpen’s braced for an eventual altercation, but tensions died down as Pages made his way to first.

Cease seemed to be confused on the mound, raising his hands as if to question Pages’ reaction, but he wasn’t the only member of the Padres to take note of the outfielder’s response.
