After Dalton Rushing and Roki Sasaki's graduations to rookie status, international signing Josue De Paula has sat comfortably atop the Dodgers' prospect rankings in 2025. De Paula, signed in 2022 out of the Dominican Republic, has repeatedly been compared to Yordan Alvarez, whose trade to the Astros might be Andrew Friedman's greatest mistake as the Dodgers' president of baseball operations.
By the end of the season, three outfielders ruled the top of the Dodgers' pipeline: De Paula, Zyhir Hope, and the lesser known Eduardo Quintero. Hope has been outstanding ever since he came over from the Cubs in the Michael Busch trade and was promoted to Double-A right at the end of the minor league season.
