The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in miraculous fashion to close out Game 6 of the World Series, but during the game, the entire Blue Jays bullpen appeared to show their support to Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia and his family.
Ahead of the World Series, it was announced that Vesia would be away from the team as he and his wife dealt with a “deeply personal family matter.” The Dodgers bullpen have all worn a No. 51 on the side of their hats to honor him.
During Game 6, the Blue Jays relievers did the same thing to honor Vesia.
