Justin Turner leaves with quad discomfort, per report

Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner left Monday’s game against the Cubs with discomfort in his quadriceps, per Doug Padilla of ESPN.

Turner was hit by a pitch on his right hand in the eighth inning, then was erased on a force play at second base, a play that saw the Dodgers tie the score. He was then removed in a double switch when relief pitcher Sergio Romo entered the game in the bottom of the inning.

Manager Dave Roberts said Turner would be reevaluated on Tuesday, an off day for the Dodgers, per Padilla.
