Johan Mieses had hit ten home runs as a Tulsa Driller but not a lot else. He was hitting .133/.215/.305 in 60 games at Tulsa. Upon his return to the team where he hit 28 home runs in 2016, Mieses went out and hit his first home run in a 2017 Quakes uniform.
The Dodgers saw Wilmer Font have his poorest start of the season and the Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals) took advantage for an 8-2 win.
