Jackie Robinson would have been 101 on January 31st. I am of the opinion that you can never have enough playing-era Jackie Robinson cards. I don't have much but what I do have I treasure. Recently a couple opportunities to add to the small stack presented themselves and I jumped as fast as I could.
This absolute stunner hails from the 1948 Old Gold Cigarettes two-card offering, both of which are of the one and only Jackie. There's a Leaping Pose and a Kneeling in Dugout Pose and the Dugout variation came up on eBay for a reasonable price.
