This month, Fox Sports Films are expanding their coverage of America’s pastime with three one-hour long documentaries. The first will document Kirk Gibson and his iconic walk-off home run in game one of the 1988 World Series.
‘Walk-Off Stories: Improbably Gibson’ debuts this Sunday, Oct. 7 at 11:30 pm ET on FS1 following the MLB on FS1 postgame coverage.
The film, directed by Mike Tollin and Jon Weinback of Mandalay Sports Media, presents an entertaining and fresh brand new retrospective on Gibson’s historic home run. It will feature unique footage and interviews from players, broadcasters, as well as fans who were at the game.
