How Will Dodgers Replace Max Muncy at Third Base? Dave Roberts Answers

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without starting third baseman Max Muncy for approximately six weeks as he recovers from a bone bruise in his left knee.

For the time being, the Dodgers already have their replacements set, according to manager Dave Roberts.

Tommy Edman has started working at third base in practice, and will start playing at the hot corner next week versus right-handed pitching. With Edman starting at third, it signifies Hyeseong Kim will get to play at second.

“You still gotta work on the footwork, just like you would at second and short,” Roberts said Friday.
