“Mark, I might be among the few who actually agrees with your post today. And one other reminder. Finishing strong doesn’t guarantee anything either. The Dodgers finished the 2006 season with a 7 game winning streak, followed by 3 and out in the NLDS against the Mets. And then there were the 2007 Colorado Rockies, who ended the regular season winning 14 of 15, and then swept their way to the World Series in the NLDS and NLCS.
