Throughout Game 5, the Dodgers played like something had completely sucked the life out of them. From a rocky outing for Blake Snell (which he later dismissed as...bad luck?), a characteristically awful showing from the bullpen, and a limp offense, the Dodgers might as well have stayed home.
Upon their return to Toronto on Thursday, Dave Roberts said that he opened up an optional workout at Rogers Centre, and everyone showed up.
In an attempt to lighten the mood, Roberts went head-to-head with Hyeseong Kim, the fastest guy on the Dodgers' roster, in a race from first to third (well, Kim started at first, and Roberts got a lead halfway to second).
