The happiest of birthdays to one of my all-time favorite players in any sport, Roy Campanella! The legendary backstop would have been 101 today (I missed celebrating the big 1-0-0) and in his honor I want to showcase my newest addition.
It's harder and harder to find Campanella cards I am without but this 1951 Wheaties Premium has been near the top of my needs list for some time. I picked it up raw and sent it in for the long wait at PSA. It returned a very presentable 4 and it's a marvelous thing to behold.
