I think it’s about time we learn something from the teams who seem to always be there in the playoffs and beat us like rented mules. I’m talking about the Cardinals and the Giants. Here’s five(5) things we need to learn:
- Don’t overpay for your free agents – the Giants let the Panda walk and the Cards let Pujols walk and they never missed a beat!
- Don’t go out and buy big name free agent pitchers – buy pitchers off the bonepile and then develop your own.
- Don’t worry about having a speedster at the top of your lineup – it may disrupt the competition, but it also disrupts your hitters.
