Gavin Lux, Alex Verdugo, Jacob Scavuzzo extend hitting streaks

Hitting streaks were the name of the game for a trio of Dodgers minor leaguers on Thursday.

Quakes shortstop Gavin Lux tripled, singled and scored twice on Thursday for a 19-game hitting streak, the longest in the California League this season. Lux during the streak is hitting .366/.411/.549. On the season the 20-year-old is hitting .324/.398/.521.

Oklahoma City fell on the road to the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Marlins), 4-2. Alex Verdugo had two singles and walked, and is hitting .353/.402/.514. Verdugo is 20-for-43 (.465) during his 12-game hitting streak.
