Shohei Ohtani (1-1, 3.29) vs. Brandon Pfaadt (13-8, 5.02).
The Padres clinched a playoff berth last night with a walk-off win over the Brewers. And the NL West is still open, with the Dodgers' magic number at three (with six games play), not to mention with Blake Treinen on the Dodgers' bullpen roster.
Not to mention, the Diamondbacks are also still in the playoff mix, one game out of the final wildcard spot (which is a virtual tie between the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Mets, the former having the tiebreaker between those two). So this might be a more meaningful game for Arizona than it is for us.
