Former Dodgers Reliever on LA’s Radar, Says Insider

The Los Angeles Dodgers are still looking for relievers this offseason, and could make a move for the future by re-signing Evan Phillips, per The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya and Katie Woo.

The Dodgers non-tendered Phillips in November rather than pay him $6.1 million in arbitration, as he is likely to miss most — if not all — of the 2026 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2025. Despite this, Ardaya and Woo report Phillips is “on the Dodgers’ radar.”

The Dodgers claimed Phillips off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays in 2021, and he immediately produced results for LA out of the bullpen.
