The Dodgers keep chipping away on their to-do list when it comes to getting World Series rings in the right hands. Or on the right fingers? With the Giants meeting the Dodgers in Los Angeles, the club took the opportunity to get left-handed pitchers Alex Wood and Jake McGee their well-earned rings from last year’s championship season.
For Alex Wood, the ring is a bit of redemption for his fine career in Dodger blue. In parts of 5 seasons with LA, Woody went 31-21 with a 3.54 ERA in 95 games (76 starts). However, most importantly he was key part of the 2017 Dodger team that went to the World Series and lost to the cheaters in Houston.
