DENVER – The Dodgers’ next visit to Coors Field might feature a swarm of locusts and ball lightning. After their past two series here, that’s about all they have left.
Their early May visit featured rain, cold and even snow. One of the games was postponed, making Tuesday’s doubleheader necessary. The start of Wednesday’s finale to this four-game, three-day series was delayed for over two hours by a rainstorm that turned to hail – and was also interrupted for all of 16 minutes in the second inning by another downpour.
