Final: Clayton Kershaw dominates with 14 Ks in Dodgers win

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In his first start after taking the loss in the All-Star Game, Clayton Kershaw dominated the Washington Nationals, striking out 14 in eight scoreless innings as the Dodgers beat the Nationals 4-2 Saturday afternoon.

Kershaw was ruthlessly efficient, striking out two in each of the first seven innings while throwing no more than 14 pitches in any of his innings. He didn't walk a batter, the second consecutive start in which Kershaw struck out more than a dozen without walking a batter.

In those two starts, Kershaw has struck out 27 while allowing just 11 hits and no runs in 17 innings.
