It’s a little over a week away when the Dodgers’ Pitchers and Catchers are scheduled to report to Spring Training on February 18th. The rest of the squad is to report by February 23rd. I think that it will happen, but we are still in the midst of a pandemic, in case you haven’t noticed. While this is extremely tragic, let me put this in perspective. Approximately, 450,000 Americans have died of COVID-19 in the last year. The Spanish Flu killed 675,000 Americans when the population was much smaller. Like 200,000,000 smaller!
The fact is: this is very tragic, but no comparison.
