Eddy Alvarez fits the role of being a Dodger “Stuntman” perfectly. Hanser Alberto is a “stuntman” for LA in that he can play multiple positions in a backup role. So is Zach McKinstry. Austin Barnes is a stuntman for sure and even though he is a starter most of the time, Chris Taylor is also a stuntman because of the number of positions he plays. I suppose we could even classify Gavin Lux and Max Muncy as “stuntmen” because they also play multiple positions.
Being a stuntman is a compliment in my opinion. I think it was Mickey Hatcher who first called Dodger utility players “stuntmen.
