Dustin May gives up five runs in 3⅔ innings in Tulsa debut, Drillers lose 9-1

When position players Tyler Goeddel and Steve Berman each pitching a scoreless innings are considered highlights, you know that it was a rough night for the Dodger minor league affiliates.

All four full-season Dodger affiliates, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Rancho Cucamonga and Great Lakes, lost on Friday night. That in itself is not too unusual. The fact that three of them, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Rancho Cucamonga lost by a combined score of 43-3 is pretty unusual.

Three of the four Rookie teams won their games.

Great Lakes right-handeder Alfredo Tavarez started August with another fine performance.
