Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto Believes He Could Start on 4 Days’ Rest

When the Los Angeles Dodgers transitioned Yoshinobu Yamamoto to a five-day rest period between starts last season, the then-rookie right-hander began to struggle on the mound.

Yamamoto had just started his MLB career after playing seven seasons in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball. Before coming to MLB, he would only pitch once a week.
