Dodgers World Series: Miguel Rojas Was ‘Ready For The Opportunity’ To Start At Second Base

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ decision to start Miguel Rojas at second base in Game 6 of the 2025 World Series paid dividends as the veteran made a couple of excellent defensive plays to help the team stave off elimination against the Toronto Blue Jays.

With the Dodgers protecting a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh, Rojas fielded a high chopper off the bat of Addison Barger with his barehand and fired it to first base for the second out.

It was an important play as Ernie Clement doubled in the next at-bat before Justin Wrobleski struck out Andrés Giménez to end the frame.
