What started out as a blowout ended in a game that came down to one throw on Wednesday. The Dodgers and Padres went toe-to-toe with Los Angeles eventually coming out on top.
The game started with a Joc Pederson homerun in the 2nd inning and the offense kept rolling from there. The Dodgers put up 7 runs in 6 innings and the game looked out of reach from there. But the Padres came storming back and would’ve tied it if not for one of the best double plays you will ever see.
Chris Taylor’s throw to nail Trent Grisham at the plate might be the defensive play of the year for the Dodgers thus far.
