Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith has accepted an invite to play for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, manager Mark DeRosa announced on MLB Network Tuesday morning.
Smith’s response to DeRosa’s call was a simple one: “What took you so long?”
