The Dodgers did some shopping over the All-Star break, picking up the best player on the trade market in shortstop Manny Machado, who then helped the offense in taking two of three against the Brewers in Milwaukee over the weekend.
Matt Kemp started in the All-Star Game, then went 6-for-13 (.462) with two home runs once the real games started up again.
Honorable mention goes to Max Muncy, who hit 29 over the fence and made it to the second round of the Home Run Derby on Monday in Washington D.
