The Dodgers got another solid start from Ross Stripling on Tuesday night as Ross went five innings allowing just one run on a Javier Baez solo shot. Things got away from the Dodgers in the sixth inning as Puig committed an error followed by an Addison Russell infield single and then it all went downhill from there. Javier Baez hit his second home run of the night, a grand slam that ultimately put the game out of reach and pushed the Dodgers 2.5 games back in the NL West. The Dodgers still hold the second wildcard spot by half a game although it’s very early to worry about that.
