Dodgers Walk Away With a Win in the 8th Inning Thanks to Rain in Pittsburgh

The Dodgers were able to walk away from Pittsburgh with a series sweep over the Pirates. But they did it in an odd fashion with the rain ruining any chance of a comeback for the struggling Pirates. The game was officially called in the 8th inning after a monsoon-type of rain came through PNC Park.

Julio Urias got the ball for the Dodgers and went 6 innings while allowing 3 earned runs. Urias struck out 5 and did not issue a walk, but he did give up a 2-run bomb to Bryan Reynolds in the bottom of the 4th.
