The Dodgers lost their first series in over a month, dropping the last two games of a three-game series to the Mets in New York. Now they head home to take on two teams they’re very familiar with, the Padres and the Giants.
Tonight’s series premiere will have Los Angeles’ Dustin May taking the mound against San Diego’s Yu Darvish. The Padres are currently 18 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West and hold a 2.5-game lead over the Brewers for the final NL Wild Card spot.
May is making his third start since his return from Tommy John surgery.
