Dodgers Video: Earthquake Shakes Dodger Stadium, But Kiké Hernandez & Eric Lauer Continue Game

The epicenter was hundreds of miles away, but Dodger Stadium received a substantial jolt during the fourth inning of Friday’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres. Preliminary reports have pegged the earthquake between a 6.9 and 7.1 magnitude.

The large quake was a second to rattle the region in as many days. The Ridgecrest, Calif., area has been unsteady since the Fourth of July holiday was interrupted by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that was the largest in Southern California in nearly 20 years.

Fans were initially slow to realize Dodger Stadium was beginning to shake, and the players largely carried on without issue.
