Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Chris Stratton has elected free agency after being designated for assignment by the team this past weekend.
Stratton was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City after clearing waivers. Rather than report to the minors, he elected to exercise his right to free agency.

This marked the second time in a week that Stratton had been DFA’d.
He was first designated for assignment last week, cleared waivers and was sent to the minors before electing free agency and re-signing with the Dodgers.
