Dodgers Urged to Trade for All-Star Starting Pitcher From AL Contender at Deadline

Despite being arguably the most active team in the offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves shorthanded once again.

At this year’s trade deadline, the Dodgers could very well pursue an outfielder, a reliever, and starting pitcher. ESPN’s David Schoenfield suggests the defending champions must acquire another starter to add to the depleted rotation.

“It’s hard to believe the Dodgers might need another starting pitcher after all the money they’ve invested in their rotation, but we still don’t know the season long prognosis for Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki, although Glasnow has at least started a rehab assignment in Triple-A,” Schoenfield writes.
