The Los Angeles Dodgers made another addition ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, acquiring right-handed pitcher Brock Stewart from the Minnesota Twins.

Stewart, 31, has become one of baseball’s best middle relievers, sporting a 2.38 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 34 innings this season.
With multiple years of team control — he isn’t a free agent until 2028 — he didn’t come cheap.
The Dodgers are trading outfielder James Outman to the Twins as part of the deal, per ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez.
