Dodgers: Tony Gonsolin to Throw Bullpen But Still Experiencing Shoulder Soreness

The Dodgers are going to make do with the guys in the bullpen that they have. The good news is that they have several starting pitchers out there to provide long relief when necessary. Early on in the 162-game season, that’s huge.

One of those guys is supposed to be Tony Gonsolin. After opting for Dustin May in the starting rotation, the Dodgers decided to send Gonsolin’s arm out to the bullpen for Opening Day. It didn’t last very long.

Gonsolin went down with right-shoulder soreness that landed him on the Injured List.
