Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Tanner Scott has had an atrocious first season as a member of the defending champions.
His last five starts include a blown save, a loss, another blown save, breaking a combined no-hitter (although, securing a save), and Friday night’s walk-off grand slam to the rival San Francisco Giants in the 10th inning.
The 31-year-old southpaw spoke to the media Friday night after what is unfortunately becoming a familiar ending to his outings.
“Gave up a bad pitch to a hitter that can hit fastballs. It cost us again,” Scott said. “I’m tired of it happening.
