Dodgers, Spectrum agree to TV deal with AT&T, DirecTV

In surprising news, the Dodgers and Spectrum Networks announced on Wednesday that they have come to an agreement with AT&T — the parent company of DirecTV — on a carriage deal. After seven years, people in Southern California (and Las Vegas and Hawaii; hi Chad!) will be able to watch the Dodgers on television.

Of course, we may not see baseball until 2021 at this rate, but if we do, the vast majority of Los Angeles will be able to see Dodgers baseball.

This is from the official press release.

SportsNet LA’s current programming includes a full slate of exclusive original shows and studio programming, as well as marquee games from recent years.
