The Dodgers depth is being tested much sooner than anyone anticipated during the 2021 season. They have a whole lot of injuries to thank for that. Pitching in particular has been an area of concern with the number of guys going down.
To add to their depth, the Dodgers scooped up RHP Kevin Quackenbush on a minor league deal this month. This is the second time that Quackenbush has been with the organization. Los Angeles signed him to a minor-league deal back in November of 2018 and he spent the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
The 32-year-old veteran spent the 2020 season with the Washington Nationals, though he never cracked the big league squad.
