The Dodgers are going to have more than enough guys to supplement their bench, especially in Spring Training. It seems like for the moment, there are close to a dozen guys vying for a spot on the bench to make the roster. And that’s a great problem to have at this point in the season.
There are a number of names just on the fringe of making that Opening Day roster. Guys like Matt Beaty and Edwin Rios will seemingly be battling it out, though Dave Roberts could certainly opt to have both of them as reserves.
But they added yet another name into the mix on Tuesday morning.
