Dodgers sign Kevin Quackenbush to minor league deal

The Dodgers have reached a minor league agreement with reliever Kevin Quackenbush, announced by his agency Monday.

The burly right-hander is no stranger to the NL West, having spent four seasons with the Padres before signing with the Reds last offseason.

Quackenbush appeared in 193 games for San Diego between 2014 and 2017, going 13-14 with a 4.08 ERA in 198 1/3 innings. His best season was also his first in the big leagues, striking out 56 in 54 1/3 over 56 games to the tune of a 2.
