The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly made their first signing of the offseason.
Minor league catcher Eliezer Alfonzo Jr., a 26-year-old from Venezuela, inked a minor league deal with the Dodgers. He first appeared in the Detroit Tigers’ system in 2017, and worked his way up from Rookie Ball to making his first Triple-A appearance this past season.

Alfonzo hit .247 with a .618 OPS across his time in both Double-A and Triple-A this season, adding a home run and 34 RBIs.
