Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani will likely make a start as a pitcher in the Wild Card round, according to the latest update from manager Dave Roberts.

“We don’t know yet,” Roberts said. “I think it just kind of gives us some options. But the likelihood of him starting a playoff game in that first series are very high.”
Ohtani made his last start against the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night. The right-hander tossed six innings for the first time this season in the series opener, setting up the Dodgers for a much-needed win.
