Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani hasn’t stopped making history this season as he accomplished another insane feat Saturday night.
In the second game of the series with the Toronto Blue Jays, Ohtani scored his 110th run of the year. As of Aug. 9, no National League player had more than 80 runs.
According to OptaSTATS, this is the first time an NL player has had at least 30 more runs than any other player in the Senior Circuit at the end of any given day since 1932. Chuck Klein led by as many as 37 runs that season.
