The Dodgers traded for Oakland A’s prospect Sheldon Neuse just a few weeks ago. Within hours, folks on the internet were already calling him the right-handed Max Muncy. And to be fair, the similarities make it difficult to not connect the two.
The A’s brought both guys up in their farm system only to cut them loose in some form. Neuse was traded, but Max Muncy was cut loose. The Dodgers picked him up on a minor league deal in the Spring of 2017 and the rest is history.
But for Neuse, he is hoping that he gets to follow that same path to the big leagues that Max Muncy found with the Dodgers.
