Dodgers Settle on Contract With Corey Seager Avoiding Arbitration

The Dodgers are putting the finishing touches on getting all of their arbitration-eligible players signed to deals. With 7 players left to make deals with this week, Los Angeles seems to be closing in on getting them all done. The most recent name to pop up with their figure is Corey Seager, who signed a new deal for 2021 today.

The deal for Seager is worth a reported $13.75 million. That new contract is a sizeable bump up in his final year of arbitration with the Dodgers after making $7.6 million for the 2020 season. That figure was obviously cut down by the shortened 60-game season.
