The Dodgers bats came out hot in the first, putting up 4 in the first highlighted by the early NL Rookie of the Year front runner James Outman’s third home run of the season. Then it all came crashing down. Noah Syndergaard was hit around for 6 runs over 4 innings. And the bullpen couldn’t keep the Diamondbacks from scoring, making for an all around ugly night on run prevention.
