On Monday the first big domino of the Winter Meetings fell as Stephen Strasburg returned to the Washington Nationals on a record-breaking seven-year deal. On Tuesday there were several signings including shortstop Didi Gregorius going to the Philadephia Phillies. Gerrit Cole and Anthony Rendon are still on the board though.
Mystery teams enter the Gerrit Cole derby
The usual suspects are in the hunt for Gerrit Cole and that is the New York Yankees, Anaheim Angels, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. In typical Scott Boras fashion, there are at least two mystery teams involved in the bidding.
