The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated Brusdar Graterol from the 10-day injured list and immediately optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Graterol had already been with the affiliate on a rehab assignment this past week. He appeared in two games during that span, collecting three strikeouts over a pair of perfect innings.
Graterol had been on the IL since April 18 due to right forearm inflammation. That historically can be a precursor to a more serious injury for a pitcher, but the Dodgers avoided that with Graterol.
“There was no incident. It came up negative, which was great news,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said of the MRI results last month.
