Dodgers Robbed of Multiple Runs on Controversial Sal Frelick Defensive Play in NLCS Game 1

It’s a play you need to see to believe.

In the top of the fourth inning, the Los Angeles Dodgers loaded the bases with one out against Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Quinn Priester, bringing up Max Muncy.

Muncy hit a 404-foot shot to center field that looked like it could have been a game-altering grand slam. Instead, center fielder Sal Frelick robbed Muncy of potential extra bases, while also quickly getting the ball in the infield to not only get the force out at home, but also set up a double play with the force out at third base.
