The Los Angeles Dodgers welcomed three-time MVP Shohei Ohtani back to the mound after 22 months away from pitching at the MLB level.
In his debut pitching in a Dodgers uniform, Ohtani completed one inning, allowing two hits and a run across 28 pitches.
On Wednesday night, the Dodgers announced his next start is scheduled for Sunday against the Washington Nationals at Dodger Stadium.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was unsure when Ohtani would make his next start at the beginning of the week.
