24-year-old outfielder Andy Pages has quickly become one of the most indispensable players on the entire Los Angeles Dodgers roster.
This sort of statement would’ve been laughed at a year ago, as the prodigious outfielder struggled with consistency amid platooning with other players. Talent has never been an issue with Pages. There have been glimpses of a potential All-Star-level player. The hit tool is excellent, and his arm is arguably the strongest of any outfielder in the big leagues.
Getting off to a horrible start to the season through April, the noise got louder over possibly replacing Pages as an everyday player — or even trading him elsewhere.
